That argument has been thrown around for years. Those who argue against the scriptures sure like to sound intelligent unfortunately they disregard the fact that reading and writing are not our natural abilities. It's something that we were taught to do. The scriptures are plain "GOD said and there was" God spoke everything into existence. If you look at the intentions God originally created everything with just look at how HE created us. We can hear, tastes, smell, touch, talk, and walk. All natural abilities that come with age. Reading & writing have to be taught. During the time of the of the scriptures before they were made possible it was 26 generations from Adam to Moses. No holy writings ever existed prior to the time of MOSES. The word WRITTEN itself occurs 277 times in 268 verses of scripture and not one time do you see that word used in GENESIS.
You might wonder what does that have to do with anything? A lot because people who are opposed the scriptures or anything that would be considered godly, holiness and righteousness like to play on words, they like to state "do research" and they also like to play on "time frames". Instead of discussing things line upon line or precept by precept its easier to pick random political issues rather than dealing with the real problems of humanity. People who oppose the scriptures do so because they clearly misunderstand too much of it because they lack the SPIRIT of the book. The parts they can clearly understand and comprehend makes them uncomfortable as it does all humanity.
One good solid way to know for sure that the scriptures are from GOD is the fact that what it clearly stands for goes against and contradicts the nature of how humanity operates. The proof look at the chaos, corruption and confusion that is running wild in our world.
How could Moses write the history of GOD's people from 26 generations before his existence? I don't have proof and this is just my opinion. I do feel like I have enough principles to back this up. I believe that GOD told him what to write. Moses translated what GOD told him. When you translate something you take what you hear and put it into writing. When you interpret you are verbally converting one language to another. That is not limited to just reading, writing and foreign languages. This right here is the little fox that people disregard or don't pay attention to especially when they want to play with words and time frames.
The bottom line is this THE HOLY SCRIPTURES can clearly be understood and logically explained. The question is do you believe in them? If so then you should be hungry to learn and ready to obey!
